The PL series measures DC current or voltage, suitable for all DC systems. Scales are linear and customized to customer’s needs and specifications. For special high accuracy meters to better than 1 %, scales are hand marked and critically calibrated to achieve the desired accuracy. High currents are measured with separate shunts and suitably scaled indicators. Suppressed, center and offset zero models are available. Meter movement is spring-loaded and suspended between sapphire jewels with hardened steel pivots. The movement is critically shielded and dampened with silicon oil for smooth deflection without pointer vibration.
